LAUSD Central Region High School #2/ LAUSD

This project is a new landmark urban high school located in a neighborhood of industrial sites and single-family residences. The high school is LAUSD's new model of 'small learning communities' with 19 classrooms. The building is located partially above a one level semi-subterranean parking structure with 47 parking spaces, which will have direct and level access from adjacent street. The site is approximately 1.28 acres and the total gross building area is 64,200 sf. The building is steel and stucco building construction, type II Fire Resistive, and fully sprinkled. The project also included site utilities and off-site improvement work. This project received Project Achievement Award from Construction Management Association of America in 2014. IEM provided construction management services for this project.


LAUSD Various K-12 School Modernization and Additions/ LAUSD

IEM provided project management, design management, construction management, cost estimating, and document control services to LAUSD for multiple K-12 Facilities. Representative schools included: Central Region LA HS12; Central Region LA HS1; Cheremoya Ave. ES; Central Region LA MS1; Central Region HS11; Vista Hermosa Park; Span K8 No. 1; McClay Elementary School Addition; Enadia Way Elementary School Reopening; Normont Elementary School; Nevin Elementary School; Cienega Elementary School; Valley Region Elementary No. 6; South Region Elementary School No. 1-7 & 9-12; Fulton Middle School Reconfiguration; South Region Middle School No. 2-3; Washington Prep High School; South Los Angeles High School No. 3; MKL High School Addition


City of Concord Childcare Center/ LAUSD

IEM provided program and construction management services to the City of Concord Public Works Department for their Capital Improvement Projects. One of the projects was the Concord Childcare Center which provides education and family support services to low- income families living or working in Concord.


City of Concord, Senior Citizen Center/ LAUSD

IEM provided program and construction management services to the City of Concord Public Works Department for their Capital Improvement Projects. One of the projects was the Concord Senior Center, which is a Center that offers activities, programs, services, and events for senior citizens residing in Concord.
