This project involved grading, drainage improvements, hydroseeding and landscaping work on 19 sites, approximately 80 acres in total area, across the Port of Long Beach right-of-way. Identified by the Port as a "Green" project, this project involved particular aspects supporting sustainability, such as over 25,000 tons of 100% recycled asphalt-free concrete base rock for all grading improvements. For this project, IEM provided full-service construction management.
IEM provided construction management services for improvement of the City of Concord Alvarado Park. This project consisted of improving Alvarado Park with new landscaping, playground construction and equipment installation, paving, bike path, and running path. IEM was responsible for daily contract administration, coordination with the contractor and A/E firm, communication and coordination with surrounding neighborhood and City departments, and attending public meetings.
